Ian Moore MRCVS
Founder - Veterinary Surgeon

Originally from Banbridge , Ian qualified at the University of Liverpool in 1990 and
worked in various mixed practice in the UK before coming home and setting up practice in Moira 1996.
​
Outside of work Ian enjoys farming and equestrian pursuits.

Claire Davis MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Claire grew up in Hillsborough began work experience with Lagan Valley Vets when she was 15. Qualified from Nottingham in 2018 and started work here the same year

Pete Dillon BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Peter grew up in Moira and starting helping at Lagan Valley Vets for work experience.
​
He qualified from University of Glasgow in 2011 and then worked in a mixed practice in Lockurbie for two years. After locuming in England he took a position as clinical director in a Small Animal Emergency Only Practice in Preston.
​
Outside work, Peter plays Rugby and enjoys getting out on his bike and walking in the Mournes as much as possible. He also helps with his dads Hampshire Down sheep at home.

Gemma Elkin MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Gemma originally from Omagh qualified from University of Glasgow in 2021, and stared work with Lagan Valley Vets the same year.

Immediately adopting a 3 legged kitten and a labrador pup Willow.
​
Outside of work Gemma enjoys horse riding and running.

Timothy Ferry BVMS CertAVP(Cattle) MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Tim qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2012 and has worked in mixed practice ever since.
He joined Lagan Valley Vets in September 2015, after previously working in North Antrim, Garvagh and a calving season in New Zealand.

Tim completed his certificate in Advanced Veterinary Cattle Practice in 2017, after approximately 700 hours of studying, exams and case reports.
​
Outside of work Tim enjoys watching & playing rugby and walking his three dogs, Bella , Rosie & Barney

Molly Regan MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Molly qualified from the universty of Dublin in 2022 and has worked in mixed practice ever since. She has a keen interest in all mixed animal work.

Outside of work Molly enjoys looking after Lilly , walking and reading.

Jan Abbott Manager
Originally from scotland Jan moved to Northern Ireland in 2004
Jan has worked in Lagan Valley vets since Aug 2004
Outside of work Jan's hobbies are reptiles having over 30 tarantulas at any one time along with snakes and lizards.
